Reviews
Good value course.
Course presented in very good condition. Greens running true and smooth. Pro shop well stocked and very friendly to deal with. Good value for money not far from the busy Gold Coast courses.
Communication disaster ! Beware
We turn up to play 18 holes and don’t even get told in the club house that 9 holes are out of play!!
Ask for a refund as we only play 9 not wanting to play the same holes again but we are refused that option. rude guy ( Al ) in the pro shop claimed there is a warning of the flood damage on this booking site I don’t think that’s right
We will not be back having paid out $75 each for 9 holes and being treated poorly
Extremely slow play
Freshly cored greens that morning meant putting was impossible, no warning when I booked. Only played 7 holes as back up of 3 seperate groups on 8th hole after waiting on every tee box on every previous hole, was just frustrating also given the condition of the freshly cored greens.
Areas for improvement
This was.the 8th time I've played at the course have asked each time to play the back Nine and on each occassion were told we'd have to come back.in the afternoon yet when I made the online booking I had the option of playing the full 18, so why when I chose to only do 9 was I not permitte to play the back, yet again.
Secondly we've been stuck.behind incredibly slow players on every occasion bar one..Each time.when.asked.to play on through we were told no. There's needs to be signage displayed in the pro shop, the bar and on each buggy, explaining the courtesy of letting smaller and faster group play through, especially when the players in front group wind test by sprinkling grass before EVERY SINGLE shot.. that behaviour should not have to be tollerated
Beautiful golf course, very friendly members and staff. Gorgeous views from the clubhouse. Would definitely recommend this course. Great value for money too 🏌♀️🏌♂️
Very nice Golf Course
Murwillumbah is a very nice golf course kept in great condition. The pace of play unfortunately was very slow, 5 hours to complete a round. It is a long course with lots of hills so it’s worth booking a buggy as well. Very good food as well at the clubhouse afterwards.
A Great Course But Too Slow
Murwillumbah is a challenging and picturesque course that I would definite recommend playing. However, the pace of play has become increasingly worse since I began playing at the course earlier this year, to the point where I will not play there again on a Friday. We teed off at 12:20 yesterday and did not finish until a little after 5pm - in the dark. On most holes we had to wait between 5 and 10 mins to hit off and frequently had to wait again on the fairways. On one par 5 there were three groups on the hole. Murwillumbah is such a stunning course but it’s hard to maintain momentum (or enjoy yourself to the fullest) with such lengthy waits.
Great Golf Experience
My wife and I played the course yesterday and can say we found the course to be brilliant.
The condition of the fairways and greens was immaculate and it must be one of the most picturesque courses in the country and should be rated higher than 97 in the 2023 Golf Courses Guide. We would recommend Murwillumbah Golf Club to anyone looking for a great golf experience
Well worth it
The course is pretty amazing. I rate this much higher than some of the bigger named clubs I’ve played at in my recent holiday.
Always reliable.
Caught behind a comp but we knew in advance and it didn’t cause too much stress.
Great service from the pro shop and the course, as always, is just a pleasure to play.
The view alone is better than most of the resort courses you’d find.
Will always be back.

Clearly the management of this place needs a shake up when you see the genuine reviews
