Bunkers
Bunkers need attention. Bunker surface hard like concrete.
Otherwise, excellent course, amenities, staff and location from M1.
Need to extend opening hours
Everything was great, except we were put behind three very slow groups of four, which meant we were unable to finish our game as fast as we would like to being an experienced group of two. We returned our cart at 6:30, it was still light, but got scolded that we didn’t bring it back sooner.
I think the comment made was that we didn’t pay full price for the game since we got it through golf now, that is irrelevant as previous games we have paid over $100 each time.
Price
WE invited a friend to play with us, when he arrived he was charged $10 less for his round than we paid online. Disappointing!!
Rain interrupted play
Nice day out, course badly in need of bunker maintenance.
Bit run down
Not sure what's happening at this course but it seems to have deteriorated each time I visit. Some fairways and most greens were in pretty bad condition this time around.
Great value for money
Great value for money, there was 1 or 2 roughish greens but all in all, after a fairly large down pour the previous two days, it was well worth it. Seriously considering a membership option for the year.
Not worth $65 at the moment
The greens are in very poor condition at the moment. Lots of bare patches. In addition, we were not able to take carts onto fairway due to weekend rain so that made pace of play slow as instead of taking a direct route to the ball, we had to use the paths. Naturally, I should have found the middle of the fairway more but it made club selection hard and if your ball was on the opposite side of the fairway to the cart path, it was frustrating.
The Pro-Shop staff were great. The bar staff, a lot less interested. My son and I were having a drink post play and were asked to vacate our table as they had bookings. The tables around us had reservation signs. Ours did not so we thought we were able to sit there and perhaps order a meal.
I've played here many times and don't like to bag the course as the staff are always delightful and the course in reasonable knick most of the time. They've had a tough year with lots of rain. I felt $65 was a bit steep under the conditions. I wish for them to have a bit more sunshine so they can return the course to the standard I know they'd prefer.
good course but
i really enjoyed the course up to the green with the flooding affecting the green badly .Should be a great course when greens are repaired
Bring your cordless drill
Rock hard tee boxes, need to bring a drill next time. Greens had just been cored and sanded so running very fast. Very low grass cover on fairways. Overall course as in a poor condition.
