The better of the two at Moonah Links

What kind of golfer are you? A mid-handicap like me or a stick? Resort golfers like me love the Legends, a really enjoyable and fair resort course. It's probably at least a couple shots easier than The Open course. The par-3 16th is typical of Legends, playing downhill to a massive green that tends to kick shots toward the flag. If you execute the shot, you could be rewarded with birdie or better. This is the kind of forgiving golf more courses should offer.

Simply a great golf course

Such a treat to play the Legends and Open courses. Both the layout, condition the location is one of Australia's best. Some great holes with superb bunkering and slick undulating greens. A must play when in Victoria.

Scenic and Playable

Eminently more playable than its big sister the Open course, this layout is wider and has less tricks. The fairways are flatter and have less bunkering.
The Open course requires more local knowledge and accuracy of the tee. This course is a bit more straightforward and enjoyable.

That is not to say it is not a challenge. There are plenty of elevated greens with severe bunkering.

The course was in magnificent shape and on a Monday afternoon over the Xmas break we had the entire course to ourselves. Well worth it.

Excellent golf course, even for intermediate golfers.

The legends course offered great fairways and even better greens. Quiet and peaceful in the early morning, I thoroughly enjoyed my round and the challenges the course presented. Worth the money.
